guys,
today our new season kicked off and for the first time we won a match on Day 1!
our formation was:
Charles - goalie - with garden gloves on he kept us in the game more than once
Adam / Lars - in Defense - some good marking and loads of communication
Jon T / Paints - Midfield - great passing and movement as well as defensive duties
Simon - Striker - 2 great goals!!! and loads of hard work!
The untouchables are a good side and went promptly 0-1 up within the first 5 min. they could have doubled their lead but charles kept saving every shot!
after another 5 minutes we passed the ball from me to Jon and he fed Simon perfectly who struck the ball home! Great goal!
so it was 1-1 at half time. the second half we defended even tighter and created some good chances (Jon's shot just got saved!) and with 5 minutes to go Simon slotted home a second.
After that we pretty defended with 5 man behind the ball and manage to hold on and WON!
Great Effort by everyone and the first 3 points in the bag!
